It begins with me learning about this ancient Chinese tale of a young boy grotesquely morphing into a female fox-like creature. Then I’m texting Cea about their role in stoney’s one-act play, where they are a character that is only ever seen in a bathtub (where they are always naked and yet covered by fog and foam). They tell me about how awful and creepy it is that Shay Ism would make them do something like that. After a while I realize that I have to go see the play to make people like Kraf N. or Teak happy, so I decide to go tomorrow after church (the current day is Saturday), and not today because I have something that’ll end at nine (when the play starts) and I don’t wanna show up late.
All of a sudden I’m at Nee Lie’s house, and her dad is talking to us about something I can’t remember, but once he leaves me and Nee Lei turn to each other. She asks me if I really think we should speak to each other after this, I say that it’s really not up to me but her (considering that I was the one who fucked everything up). This leads her to come to the conclusion that we shouldn’t but she doesn’t care and still wants to talk, I feel very mixed yet happy with this. (Things get fuzzy from here on out). Later on she tells me of secrets she hides in the upstairs garden, so then I go up there to check it out. It’s like a weirdly pristine garden filled with sunlight and flower petals from the trees are flying everywhere.
